Another theme park was planed for today. The famous Universal Studios. Breakfast was already at 7.30am. We had to eat all the left overs. So it wasn't weird eating carrots or spaghetti. Afterwards we had to bring our suitcases downstairs and tidy everything. When everything was done the three vans left the resort. We went to the parking house from the studios and got money for lunch. 
The group got split so that everyone was able to do the things which he was interested. There were a lot of different things to do. Riding all the coasters, enjoying some 4D attractions or having fun while watching all the street attractions. It was very hot and there were many people in the park. For sure that didn't affect our mood. The only sad thing was probably knowing that this was our last day.
The whole group met at 4.30pm and drove to one of the Disney Resorts, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Our patience was necessary there because we had to wait really long. Everyone was very tired and hungry. After a while we finally got the batches for our rooms. So we had to split the group and searched the rooms. Later we went to the Disney Springs by bus and searched a restaurant. That was really difficult with a group of 28. So Mr. Hediger decided to give us money and everyone enjoyed the very last evening far away from home.

Departure day...
Planned was meeting at 10.45am by our vans. But when some of us went to the lobby and realized that breakfast wasn't included everything changed a bit. We met at 10.15am and drove to Wendy's. Some of us took a burger and the rest went to Publix. We really enjoyed this special food and were realizing that we won't have anything like that at home.
Departure already came closer. We drove to the airport and checked in. The plane left at 2.15pm. Everything went pretty fast and the second flight had already started. When we finally arrived in Zürich the dad from Michelle and the dad from Anna and Lea drove us home.
An amazing journey already came to an end. This trip was in our minds for so long. We had to prepare and were looking forward all the time. It is unbeliveable that it is already over now. We had an incredible time and enjoyed every single moment of it. We're really thankful for all the memories and friends we made. Sadly everything has to come to an end. 
It's over now but we'll keep it in our minds forever.

Today we had breakfast at 9:30am. After that some of us went to the Orlando Premium Outlet. There are many shops. While we were shopping Julia and Michelle saw a man stealing socks from the Vans Shop. They told it to Jonas and Gabriela. Gabriela went to the man and talked with him how he should return the socks and or otherwise she'd call the cops. How courageous! Unbelievable he did, Gabi escorted him back the shop where he returned the stolen items. At 4pm we came back and we had some time for ourselves. Meanwhile Julian and Etienne were cooking pasta together with Mr. Hediger. Later that day the family Felder came for dinner. We had burgers, salad and some spaghetti. After dinner we also had some ice cream that the Felder’s brought us. We had to wash the dishes and it didn’t went that well because the water didn’t want to move. In the end we used a toilet destructor to remove the trash out of the outflow. After that everyone went to our rooms and they got ready the baggage’s.Tomorrow will be a long day so we are all going to bed now.

Wednesday 2019

Today we had breakfast at 9:30am and at 10:30am we were outside the house to go in the vans. We were on our way to Cocoa Beach for about one and a half hours. After arriving at Cocoa Beach we first went to the famous Ron Jon shop. It is a very big two story building where you can buy clothes, shoes, caps, stickers and even surfboards. We bought a lot of things...oops. After like a half an hour we went to the beach with our rental surfboards. The waves weren’t that big which was good for beginners. So we tried to surf and we did pretty well actually. After a while some of us got out of the water and went sunbathing. Because we had no lunch, those who were hungry ate a banana or an apple. It was a lot of fun because we put the peel of the banana on Travis‘ head. It looked funny. After 4 hours on the beach we finally went to Kelsey‘s at 4:30 pm to have dinner. We laughed because Karina almost spilled her drink on the table. 
At the end we came back to the villa and we needed to be at the table because Mr.Hediger was explaining what we will do the next three days. So long story short this was an epic day.

Having fun at the Isle of Adventure theme park was the plan for today. Breakfast was at 7:30am. Everyone was excited even though some of us weren‘t really awake. Later we left the house and drove right into some traffic jam. When we finally arrived at the theme park Mr. Hediger had a fantastic idea. His plan was to take all of us to ,The Hulk‘ which was the first roller coaster. Almost everyone went there. After that we got some time for us and had the possibility to explore the whole park. At lunchtime the hungry students met Mr. Hediger at the Hard Rock Cafe. The food was delicious and everybody was happy.... Except for Mira because her food came after 20 minutes. Strengthened by the food we visited the coasters again. Some of us saw the river rafting and wanted to try it out really hard. So we convinced Mr. Hediger to come with us. 
He wasn‘t happy at all but decided to come with us. After the first corner Mr. Hediger was already annoyed and not happy anymore. Everyone was having an amazing ride and his facial expressions made it even funnier. At the end Mr. Hediger was so offended that he wanted to drive home. His mood didn‘t get better when he realized that the returning would take him 50 minutes because of the traffic.So he had to stay in the park where everyone else had an amazing time.
After many new experiences the whole group came together at 5:00pm and drove home. There we were hanging around and ordered pizza for dinner.At the end of the day everyone was satisfied and Mr. Hediger was laughing again....

Monday May 2019

Today we had a hang loose day, so that means, that we had time to play ping pong, go into the pool, play basketball or just chill on the deckchairs. Between 8-8:30am everybody woke up and some of us helped the adults with the preparation of the breakfast. The selection was huge, from yogurt to toast to fruit and fried eggs with bacon there was pretty much everything. When everyone was done with breakfast, most of the people moved and jumped into the pool or did some sports. Some of us went back in their rooms or played pingpong or some other games or just went into our home movie theater. In the evening we prepared for the dinner. We had fajitas! More than 5.6kg of meat was just barely enough for all of us. It was very delicious. We had a buffet where we could choose different things for the fajitas. When we finished dinner, we spent our time like the whole day, just chilling, hanging around the pool, singing and dancing, and going into the pool. Some girls put on make up on boys and it was very funny, and some made a catwalk fashion show led by Marcel and Bettina. It was hilarious.

Today we had to grab our stuff and deliver the suitcases at the car by 11:10am. Until then we had to eat our breakfast. At 11:30am we started our ride to Orlando. After 1h 30min we stopped for lunch and most of us ate at Wendy’s. When we got back to our cars we still had to drive for about 3h. As closer as we got to the villa, our excitement got bigger. Finally we arrived and everyone freaked out because we didn’t expect our villa to be that big. There we had to wait for 10min and discuss the rules. We also decided who is going to shop our food.
Because our villa is so big, everyone got kind of lost, and was shocked. After everybody got to his room, the shoppingcrew bought lots of food and made pasta for dinner. We had our pasta at 7:30pm, which was very delicious. In the evening we could decide what we wanted to do on our own.

Saturday May 2019

At 9:00am we had breakfast at the hotel. After that some of us went to the nail salon to get their nails done. While we were there Anna and Lea went swimming at the Aquatic Center in Pompano Beach. The nail artist were all Vietnamese people so we could barely understand them, nevertheless all turn out to be good. After all of us had done their nails, we went to a store called Ross, beside the salon. Mr Hediger picked us up at 12:00am and headed back to the hotel. We had 15 minutes to get ready for lunch and the beach. We drove to Subway but it unfortunately it was closed and that's why we took some sandwiches from Publix. Some of us got sick so they went stayed at the hotel to recover. Ben ordered Pizza for them. But the others went to the beach. At the beach we met some Pompano Beach High School kids and we had fun with them. We played football at the beach and in the water. After two and half hours we drove back to the hotel. While we were at the beach the others in the hotel also met some of the High School kids. When we drove back home one of the students, Gabriel the violinist, came with us to the hotel. When everyone was in his rooms, we had to get ready for the evening. Everyone looked pretty. We drove to the Sports Bar called Bokampers. On of the high school students drove with us and three others drove behind us with their own car. We had a beautiful evening with delicious food and amazing pictures. As we went to the hotel some of the students stayed with us. The whole day was fun and pretty beautiful.

Friday May 2019

Today we had to get up really early again. At 6:45am we started our way down to the Keys. We made three stops. The first was at Starbucks in Homestead, which was closed unfortunately, so we went to the close by Walgreens. Most of us bought candy or something to drink. On our second stop, we had time to feed some big fish called tarpons. It was quiet scary because they had such a big mouth so not everyone did it. We also needed to take care of the fish food because the pelicans went crazy around us. We also had time to buy some things at the stalls there. After that we drove to Wendy's for lunch. When we finished that, we went snorkeling with Captain Pip. It took us about 40min to get out into open water. We anchored close to an old lighthouse. There we saw a lot of beautiful fish and corals, turtles, stingrays, barracudas and nurse sharks, and lots more. But not all had that much fun. A few got really sea sick. The sea was pretty rough and wavy at first, but after a while it calmed down. During the ride back to the shore, the captain told us that they saw a 14ft great white shark in this area a week ago. That shocked us a bit but we quickly forgot about it because we arrived at the shore. After that we went to a restaurant called "Sunset Grille". It was really cool because a pool was part of the restaurant. The food was very delicious. Many of us have tried sushi for the first time in their live. Later we took some pictures at the pier and Dzhanella dropped her flip flop in the sea. Jonas got it out again. We drove back to our hotel. Most of us fell asleep in the car. It was a really long car drive. But an other beautiful day.

Today we had to be up very early like yesterday, because we visited the Pompano Beach High School again. As we arrived at the school we went to the media center, where the students (shadows) picked us up and took us to their classes. Some had Anatomy classes, others had English classes and some had been to the IT room. After two periods most of us had lunch. You could choose between cheeseburger, pizza or pasta. After only 30 minutes lunch we had classes again. But most of us were just messing around. At around 2:15 PM Pep Rally took place. The short version is that all four grades move up one grade and the Seniors (the ones in 4th grade of high school) leave school and get honored. We were also part of this as we performed our dance again. After around an hour Pep Rally was finished and we left to play some Lazertag. Unfortunately our group was too big so we had to go to the hotel. At 6:45 PM we met to go having dinner. For dinner Mr.Hediger ordered 175 chicken wings and six monster plates of nachos. At around 8:45 PM we were finished and headed back to the hotel to rest and get some sleep as we go to the Keys tomorrow.

Wednesday May 2019

Today we had to get up very early, because we went to the Pompano Beach High School. Unfortunately some of us (they look very much alike) slept in and only had approximately 4 minutes time to ready. Mr. Hediger was not amused at all. Anyway, we still made it to the high school on time. It was a very exciting day, because we knew that we were going to have our presentations, in front of about 400 people. But before that, we were welcomed by a sergeant of JROTC. We got to shot air riffles. Travis was the best sniper of us all, closely followed by Valentina and Hayalini. After that, we had time to get ready for the presentations in the auditorium, we checked out the microphones, practiced our dance once more and Selma and Gaby sang the song called Riptide. Up on stage we've gotten really nervous, but for no reason. The students of PBHS supported us with everything they could. The were singing the songs with us, cheered, screamed and simply made all of us feeling very comfortable up on stage. After the nerve-wrecking presentation, we went to the library and just spoke a little bit with our pen pals of PBHS. It was very exciting to meet them and we all gave them our gifts and presents. They where all very happy abeut them. After about one hour, we had pizza delivered so we spent another interesting hour with them. At about 1:20 pm, we went to our activities. These where very cool and I think everyone enjoyed them. We got to check out Tv production, debate class, hollowness, arts, peer counseling and much more. At 15:15pm we finished school. Then we went to the hotel for about one hour. At 16:50 we went back to PBHS to watch a baseballgame. Cool thing about that was all of us got to go on the baseball field and the adults were honored by throwing the First Pitch of the game. Anyway, we didn't watch the whole game, because it started to rain and we had a reservation at a restaurant called Zuckerellos. Everyone had an very delicious dinner. Later that evening we went back to the hotel to chill at the pool or in the room. Tomorrow we will go to the high school once again.
