Today we had to get up a little bit earlier than yesterday. We had to be ready at 8:30am in the classroom at our hotel. So all of us had breakfast at different times. At 8:30am sharp class started. We were talking about yesterday and we practiced for our presentations once again. We had a break at 10am. It was Marvin's birthday. So Angela, Marcel and Ruedi went the most famous donut factory around the corner to get 30 different types of donuts. Marvin was really surprised when he got his little present. A ton of sugar later we practiced for our school dancing performance we're having tomorrow. Then we hit the road and went to the one and only Sawgrass Mills Mall. We had lunch at a foodcourt in one of the biggest outlets in the whole world. Around 350 shops were waiting for us. One store was bigger than the other. We went in stores like Nike and Old Navy. There were also two game shops and stores like Gucci, H&M and Lacoste and lots more. Then we had diner at the Cheesecake Factory. The size of the meals were much bigger than back home. But most importantly, it was super delicious. After that we went to the beach at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea to check out the sunset and take some group pictures. Then we went back to our hotel and on the way we went over some speedbumps and Luca hit his head. Over the whole day Marvin got surprised about three times because he just turned 15. We're all very excited about meeting our pen pals tomorrow.

We are the twelfthgeneration which has the opportunity to go to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are ?? students from four different classes (??). This year we are many more students than in the past evelen years. All of us are very excited about the whole trip. We are going to visit many famous locations and we’ll do a lot of different things with our teacher (Mr. Hediger). The whole situation is going to be new for most of us, because we have never been nonstop together for such a long time. Furthermore, most of us have never flown so far. But, we think, that this won’t be a problem and we are going to have a great time anyway. Actually we don't really know what to expect, but we're all looking forward to it.
