We are the twelfthgeneration which has the opportunity to go to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are ?? students from four different classes (??). This year we are many more students than in the past evelen years. All of us are very excited about the whole trip. We are going to visit many famous locations and we’ll do a lot of different things with our teacher (Mr. Hediger). The whole situation is going to be new for most of us, because we have never been nonstop together for such a long time. Furthermore, most of us have never flown so far. But, we think, that this won’t be a problem and we are going to have a great time anyway. Actually we don't really know what to expect, but we're all looking forward to it.

Wednesday, May 2018

Our day started really early today and we had a short breakfast at 6:30 am. At twenty to six we had to be ready to go to Pompano Beach High School. Some of us were really excited. When we arrived there they told us that this week is senior sendoff week that means they dressed up at Monday as a “meme”, yesterday as a “cartoon” and today “were they are from”. At school we met then our “pen pals” but we had some difficulties because some just didn’t arrived. That’s why some of us were in bigger groups shadowing a student. After the first lesson we could go to a presentation about drunk driving and that was quite boring sometimes. After the presentation the students with A lunch went earlier to get food in the cafeteria than B lunch students. At lunch we met some new friends and they were really friendly and nice. They asked us many questions like what’s the main difference between the schools in Switzerland and the schools here in America. We told them that in Switzerland we are not allowed to eat, sleep and use are phones during class. That was really new for us. Then after lunch we went to our afternoon lessons. After the last class was over we went back to the hotel and some went swimming in the pool. At 4:35 pm Mr. Hediger told us to be at the pool because he brought our dinner and that was 9 extra large pizzas (Hawaiian, cheese and pepperoni). We all were happy about the food because the lunch wasn’t that tasty. In the evening Mr. Hediger surprised us with the visit to the XTREME ACTION PARK. There we could go bowling, GoCard driving and a lot more, tons of video games and climb in a rope park under the ceiling. That was really cool although some of us were very tired from the day in school. At the hotel we went through our texts again because tomorrow is the big day where we have our presentation. At the end of the day we were all very happy that every thing went well at High School.
